Gotta’ See Trailers: Christopher Nolan’s ‘Inception’

inception

Hot off the heels of the massive success of “The Dark Knight”, Nolan has lured in an outstanding cast to populate the world of his next film. A 2010 release is planned for this science fiction film that is shrouded in mystery. So far, two descriptions are available: “contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind” and “a CEO-type becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal”. This trailer is a rare peek into the world of “Inception” and I can’t wait to see more.

Check around the 30 second mark when things make a decidedly Matrix-like twist. I love the visual style Nolan is going for with the action, even having someone seemingly fall towards the end of the hall as the world, which I presume is inside Leonardo DiCaprio’s mind, turns up on end.

Joining DiCaprio in the lead role of Jacob Hastley are Marion Cotillard (Mrs. Lisa Hastley), Ellen Page (Isabell), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Arthur), Cillian Murphy (Fischer), Ken Watanabe (Saito), Tom Berenger (Browning), Tom Hardy (Eames), and Michael Caine (of course).

Other than these little bits of information, nothing else has really been confirmed. Wild speculation continues to surround the film, and the cast is remaining mum on virtually every detail. The film currently has a planned release date of July 16. See you then!
